2. Real Estate Agency

real estate agency refers more to the relationship and representation in a transaction.

In real estate law, agency means one party representing another party’s interests.

Types of agency relationships include:

  • Seller’s Agent (Listing Agent) – represents the seller
  • Buyer’s Agent – represents the buyer
  • Dual Agent – represents both buyer and seller
  • Transaction Broker – facilitates the deal without representing either side
