SEO Secrets and Algorithms of the BunnyHill214 Story

Early on in my Internet experience, I was curious of how keywords were used on the Internet, and how the search engines would seek out certain words online.

What I did was made up a word string and tested to see if that word was found online. That secret keyword that I created was BunnyHill214 and it’s been a long time online.

The algorithms have changed, because I used to be able to search that word and the only thing that would come up was my blog post with the keyword BunnyHill214 in the content.

Back in the earlier years, I took this test to another level, and I mixed up a batch of cherry Kool-Aid and headed out to Lake Calhoun in Minneapolis.

I poured the Kool-Aid out on a hill and spelled out the word, “Bunny Hill 214” in the snow. I took a picture of this, but I no longer have that picture. I wish that I did.
